The easiest way to search for properties listed in the Wilmington MLS is to click on IntracoastalRealty.com, then click on Find A Home. The directions are easy to follow. One piece of advice is to choose a maximum list price no greater than 10% above the amount you are willing to pay.

A great tool that allows you to select, add, delete and save properties for others to view is called My Home Portfolio. You go to IntracoastalRealty.com, then click on My Home Portfolio, and follow the simple directions. You will be asked to sign in with your e-mail address to set up your portfolio. Then search for properties at Find A Home, and save them in your portfolio with a simple click. The great thing about this tool is that others can view your selections no matter where they are as long as they go to My Home Portfolio and sign in with your e-mail address.

When you are ready to work with a real estate broker, My Home Portfolio allows the broker to place properties in your portfolio for you to see. This can be especially useful when buyers and their buyer agent search for homes, narrow the list and decide which properties to tour.
